Junior Leadership Program

Meet the Junior Board of Directors

Leadership Opportunities

Overview:

One of the most distinguishing aspects of our youth sailing program is that it also offers opportunities in youth leadership. The Junior Program has a Junior Board which holds monthly meetings (the first Thursday at 6:00 p.m.) and makes decisions regarding the direction of the program, with the oversight of the Junior Director.

Our group of Juniors learns the value of helping each other both on the dock, through rigging, and boat maintenance, and on the water, by sailing together and as a team. Leadership qualities propel these Juniors into the top echelon of young people, and the skills learned through this program look great on a resume and for college and advanced sailing camp entrance applications.
